On 10th December 2018, Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) released an advertisement concerning State Service Examination. The main purpose of conducting this exam is to hire the eligible aspirants for some vacancies in various government departments of Maharashtra State. Last date to submit online applications was 31st December 2018. Till this date, a huge number of aspirants have submitted online forms.

Preliminary Exam Pattern:
Preliminary examination will contain two papers (I & II). Both papers will be of 200-200 marks. For each paper, you will get two hours to complete it. Standard of questions in paper 1 will be of degree level. In paper 2 standard of question will be degree level for topic 1 to 5, 10th class level for topic 6 and class 10th and 12th level for topic 7. Question paper will be in two languages i.e. Marathi and English except the language section. There will be only objective type questions in the prelims exam.
