MHA IB Security Assistant Syllabus 2019
Ministry of Home Affairs (Government of India) has successfully issued the official exam pattern and syllabus for the upcoming Security Assistant recruitment test. A huge number of aspirants are enrolled for this job examination and at the moment, they are looking here and there for the authorized exam syllabus because it is not possible for them to crack the test without the knowledge of proper syllabus and exam scheme. Formerly, the Ministry of Home Affairs had uploaded a job notification on its web portal. The main purpose of releasing his advertisement was the recruitment of eligible aspirants for 1054 vacant posts of Security Assistant (Executive) in the department. Many job hunters were interested in applying for this government job notification. Accordingly, they took part in the online registration process which is going to be ended on 10th November 2018.
The tier wise examination pattern is as follows.
Tier I Exam Pattern
- Written examination will contain objective type multiple choice questions.
- Questions in the test will be come from General Awareness (40 Ques.), Quantitative Aptitude (20 Ques.), Logical/ Analytical Ability (20 Ques.) and English Language (20 Ques.).
- The exam will be of total 100 marks.
- Duration of the test will be 2 hours.
- There will be the negative marking of 1/4 marks for each wrong answer.
Tier II Exam Pattern
In this tier, the first round will contain the descriptive type test in which candidates will have to do the translation of a 500 word’s passage from local language to English and vice versa. Further round will be the spoken ability round which is to be assessed at the time of tier III as stated below. First round will be of 40 marks and second round will be of 10 marks. The duration to complete the first round will be 1 hour.
Tier III Exam Pattern
Tier III will be the last round of this recruitment procedure which will contain the interview/ personality test. The maximum marks in this round will be 50 marks.
General Awareness: Science & Technology, Sports, Culture, Personalities, Economics, Politics etc.
Quantitative Aptitude: Number, H.C.F. & L.C.M., Decimal Fractions, Simplification, Square Root and Cube Root, Average, Problems on Numbers, Problems on Ages, Surds and Indices, Percentage, Profit and Loss, Ratio & Proportion, Partnership, Chain Rule, Time & Work, Pipes & Cisterns, Time & Distance, Problems on Trains, Boats & Streams, Alligation or Mixture, Simple Interest, Compound Interest, Area, Volume & Surface Areas, True Discount, Banker’s Discount, Stock & Shares, Calendar, Clocks, Races & Games of Skill, Linear Equations in Two Variables, Quadratic Equations, Arithmetic and Geometric Progressions, Geometry, Polygons, Trigonometry, Heights and Distances, Co-Ordinate Geometry, Number Series, Tabulation, Pie-Chart, Bar Diagram, Line Graphs etc.
Logical/ Analytical Ability: Logical Reasoning, Alphanumeric Series, Data Sufficiency, Ranking/Direction/Alphabet Test, Coded Inequalities, Seating Arrangement, Puzzle, Syllogism, Blood Relations, Input Output, Coding Decoding etc.
English Language: Para jumbles, Reading Comprehension, Cloze Test, Miscellaneous, Fill in the blanks, Multiple Meaning/Error Spotting, Paragraph Completion, One Word Substitution, Active/Passive Voice etc.
